I’ve been in Horticulture for nearly 4 years now, and with Eltringham Gardens for 2 of those. I love working outside, I love working with my skilled colleagues, and I love having an impact on on someone’s garden. Something that is personal to our clients, and being given the opportunity to collaborate and improve their space. I am currently doing my RHS level 2 certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development, and am already applying that knowledge to my work. I look forward to further developing my knowledge in 2026.

I have worked at Eltringham Gardens since May 2024. I completed my Level 2 training at Walworth Garden, an organic community space in South London. I am passionate about sustainable gardening practices, food growing and making green spaces accessible for everyone. I ran a small community garden for 3 years, growing a range of edible and wild plants, where we would organise workshops, lectures and art exhibitions based around urban green spaces.
Emily
I began working with the team in March 2025 and am currently studying for my RHS Level 2 qualification at Regent’s Park. After previously completing a degree in Psychology, I discovered horticulture and was drawn to the powerful connection between nature and mental wellbeing.
In the future, I plan to venture into garden design as I’m drawn to creating peaceful, beautiful spaces that support how people feel, while also working in harmony with native plants and biodiversity.
